Cortez "Union LA - Lemon Frost" DR1413 100

The Union x Nike Cortez “Lemon Frost” is a collaboration by the Los Angeles based clothing and sneaker retailer that celebrates the model’s legacy, as well as its caché in the greater LA area. Honoring the Nike Cortez’s 50th anniversary in 2022, the Union co-designed “Lemon Frost” updates the model with its signature colors and textures for a look unlike anything ever seen before on the classic shoe. Tan suede overlays contrast the multicolor striped knit base. A Lemon Frost suede Swoosh is found on either side. The bold yellow hue also appears on the heel tab, as well as on the heel overlay with Union’s “Frontman” logo. Additional yellow detailing comes into play on the tongue tag and on the suede overlay on the base of the vamp. The lower portion of the shoe is made from sustainably sourced materials as Nike’s recycled Crater Foam and Grind textiles comprise the midsole and outsole, respectively. Release date: June 21, 2022
